Brokeback Mountain cast on Oprah
I intended to get all kinds of work done today, but so far all I've done is eat a bagel with lox, watch Sunday morning news shows, eat a turkey sandwich, and watch two episodes of Columbo. Anyway, in the middle of watching the second episode of Columbo ("Blueprint for Murder"), I remembered how great Oprah has been lately. Of course you know about the tongue lashing she gave James Frey on Thursday, but on Friday she was back to the loving, nurturing Oprah we all love when she interviewed the cast of Brokeback Mountain.
She started out with Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger. Jake was adorable, but not the smartest kid in the class, and Heath was dreamy. I'm sure they talked about something, but I wouldn't know. Well, they definitely talked about what it was like to make out with each other, I was paying attention for that part - it was weird at first, but in the end it was just regular actor, technical make-out stuff.
Anyway, Oprah later brought out Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway. Michelle looked amazing, especially considering she gave birth 12 weeks ago. She and Heath talked about falling in love on the set and it was all very adorable. Anne Hathaway, on the other hand, needs a reality check. I guess she's used to being the epicenter of her movies, but there was no reason to open her mouth as much as she did. They sat her all the way at the end of the couch; she was practically falling off it and you couldn't see her face that well, but I guess she still didn't quite understand that nobody gives a shit that she was in the movie.
She even had the balls to come on Oprah's show and insult Oprah (although, she's so dumb, I don't think she realized it until Oprah called her idiot ass out). Basically what happened is Oprah wondered if at the end of the movie, Laureen (Anne's character), you know, knew about Jack ( Jake's character) and that dumb bitch Anne Hathaway said, "I think it makes it stronger not to say what I was playing, because I think it's pretty obvious what the answer is." Then Oprah batted her eyes in disbelief that some second rate actress would actually say that to Oprah's face on Oprah's show. Then Oprah clenched Oprah's fists, fought the urge to punch Anne, and responded, "If it's pretty obvious, then this is a really stupid question." Anne hid her face in embarrassment when she realized she was being such a stupid cunt on the Oprah Winfrey show. Then Oprah mocked her, but allowed her to remain on Oprah's stage.

Heath Ledger is the full package though. Beauty, brains, and he lives in Brooklyn. Gangster.
